Terms of Service

1. Purpose
These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") govern the conditions and procedures for the use of the website and accommodation services (hereinafter "Service") operated by Kammer Seoul (hereinafter "the Company"), and define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and its users.
The Korean version of these Terms is the authoritative version for legal purposes.
2. Definitions
1. "Service" refers to the accommodation booking website and related services provided by the Company.
2. "User" refers to any individual who uses the Service in accordance with these Terms.
3. "Booking" refers to the user selecting accommodation dates and a room through the Service and completing payment.
4. "Deposit" refers to the amount paid in advance by the user to confirm a booking.
5. "Goshiwon" refers to the single-occupancy, short-term and long-term accommodation facility operated by the Company.
3. Effectiveness and Modification of Terms
1. These Terms become effective when posted on the Service website and when the user uses the Service.
2. The Company may modify these Terms for reasonable cause and will announce changes on the website at least 7 days prior to the effective date.
3. Users who do not agree to modified Terms may discontinue use of the Service.
4. Service Content
The Company provides the following services:
1. Room information and booking services
2. Online payment services (deposit and full payment)
3. Booking confirmation, modification, and cancellation services
4. Other accommodation-related supplementary services
5. Booking and Payment
1. Users complete a booking by selecting a room through the Service, entering required information, and completing payment.
2. A deposit corresponding to a percentage of the total accommodation fee is required to confirm the booking.
3. The remaining balance is due at check-in.
4. Payments are processed through a third-party payment processor designated by the Company. The Company does not directly store payment details (e.g., card numbers).
5. A booking confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided by the user.
6. The minimum stay period is 7 days (7 nights).
6. Cancellation and Refund
The following refund policy applies to booking cancellations:
1. Cancellation 14 or more days before check-in: 100% refund of the deposit
2. Cancellation 7 to 13 days before check-in: 50% refund of the deposit
3. Cancellation less than 7 days before check-in: No refund
Refunds are processed through the original payment method and may take 3 to 10 business days depending on the payment processor.
7. Check-in and Check-out
1. Check-in time: 6:00 PM (18:00)
2. Check-out time: 11:00 AM (11:00)
3. For early check-in or late check-out requests, please contact the Company in advance. Availability is subject to room status.
4. Guests must present valid identification (passport, etc.) at check-in.
8. House Rules
Users must comply with the following rules during their stay:
1. No smoking anywhere in the building
2. Quiet hours after 10:00 PM
3. No parking available (no parking facilities)
4. Bathrooms are shared facilities on each floor
5. No visitors allowed in rooms
6. No phone calls in rooms
7. Room access is required during monthly pest control
8. Management may access rooms in case of emergencies
Violation of these rules may result in eviction without refund of the remaining accommodation fee.
9. Company Obligations
1. The Company shall do its best to maintain facilities to provide a safe and comfortable accommodation environment.
2. The Company shall protect user personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
3. The Company shall endeavor to provide continuous service and promptly recover from system failures.
4. The Company shall actively address user opinions or complaints deemed legitimate.
10. User Obligations
1. Users must provide accurate information when making a booking.
2. Users must treat facilities with care and are liable for damages caused intentionally or through negligence.
3. Users must comply with these Terms and the house rules.
4. Users may not use the Service for illegal purposes.
11. Disclaimer
1. The Company shall not be liable for inability to provide the Service due to force majeure events such as natural disasters, war, or pandemics.
2. The Company shall not be liable for service disruptions caused by the user's own actions.
3. The Company shall not be liable for indirect damages or failure to achieve expected benefits from using the Service.
4. The Company shall not be responsible for issues arising from inaccurate information provided by the user.
12. Dispute Resolution
1. The Company and users shall endeavor to resolve any disputes arising from the use of the Service amicably.
2. If a dispute cannot be resolved, the laws of the Republic of Korea shall govern, and the Seoul Central District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
